Who is Sagid Carter?

Sagid Carter (b. 1994) is a Dutch broadcaster with roots at FunX, VPRO, and NPO 3FM. She received an honorable mention at the prestigious Zilveren Reissmicrofoon awards and was named Media Talent of the Year in 2020. In August 2022, she left 3FM to pursue her own path as a storyteller, interviewer, and music curator.

She runs a YouTube channel where she shares in-depth interviews, cultural essays, and original reports. In late 2024, Sagid unexpectedly meets Chris Martin (Coldplay) in New York and lands an exclusive interview — you can watch it here. Not exactly. The name Club Carter was created by Sagid Carter and was originally used for a 3FM/VPRO Saturday night radio show hosted by Sagid.
